make my mom a website
Does your mom have a side project that needs a website? We make nice clean sites. Only for moms. Really. π©π»π©πΎπ©πΌπ©π½
hi mom. π
Our story: we launched makemymomawebsite.com because we kept hearing the same things over and over from our friends: there are LOTS of moms out there with stories waiting to be told (and things waiting to be sold!) Things to share with the world. Seeking new ways to connect with their people.Yet after spending the last several years building websites for all sorts of clients, we also realized that moms are different. You need things to be super simple. Not too over-the-top. And you need someone to sit next to you, patiently, to teach you how to keep your new site updated yourself. That's where we come in.
our story.
We kept hearing the same things over and over from our friends: there are LOTS of moms out there with stories waiting to be told (and things ready to be sold!) Things to share with the world. Seeking new ways to connect with their people. We wanted to make it really easy for our friends' moms to get a website for their side projects. But we also realized moms are different. They like things simple. Not over-the-top. And they need someone to sit with them, patiently, to teach them how to keep their new site updated themselves. That's where we come in.
mom-friendly pricing.
we do things a bit differently:- we like flat fees. developers charging hourly can take advantage of you
- all mom sites are a one-time $750 (pretty reasonable, we think)
- or $100/month for 9 months. Mom's decision+ we sit with mom until she knows how to update the site herself.
*plus costs like your .com ($12/yr) & hosting i.e. squarespace/wix ($10-20/mo).
How it works.
1) we set up 15-minute kickoff call
2) we draw our the site on paper together
3) we put the site on the internet in 1-2 weeksWhen it's done, we spend plenty of time explaining how to keep the site up to date. That's our thing. Every site comes with lifetime support π
